How long was client searching prior to our involvement?
They were looking originally back in May and had made a hire in July. That person ended up not wanting to relocate and left after just 3 weeks. This second time around they contacted me immediately.
Did client have internal recruiting resources?
No, they do not. They only use word of mouth.
Why was this a real problem for the client?
They had nobody to lead their converting team. To help train and develop them, or with paper converting experience.
How did this opportunity help the candidate?
The candidate had worked in paper converting most of his career. He relocated to this area with his previous company in a different division outside of paper. He did not like it so he left and was working with a tissue converting plant before he left due to management and turnover issues. He was working the weekend night shift at a Walmart distribution facility. This opportunity got him back into paper with stable leadership and didn’t require him to move.
