When Delta Diversified, Inc. opened its doors in 1979, a gallon of gas was $.86, a first class stamp was $.15 and the DJIA hit a high of 907 for the year. At the time, business moved at the speed of relationships, which were developed through in person meetings, long distance phone calls and “snail mail.”
