Because this is a new market for them, their traditional means of recruiting were proving insufficient as they could not find the right skillset for the team. The candidate was in a role with an organization managing one of the largest contracts/clients for the organization. Unfortunately, the client he was servicing decided to bring the service “in-house” which meant he was on a quickly ending timeline for his services. Due to this, he was beginning to evaluate new opportunities that would allow him to stay client facing in the Data Center space and stay local in Denver.
