Why was this a real problem for the client?
The previous Director of Service unexpectedly passed away approximately four months prior to the company’s engagement with Delta Diversified, creating a significant leadership gap within the organization. In the interim, the client’s internal Talent Acquisition team made multiple attempts to fill the position and also partnered with several third-party recruiting agencies. Despite these efforts, they were unable to identify and secure a qualified candidate who met both the technical and leadership requirements of the role. The prolonged vacancy began to impact operational effectiveness and strategic momentum, ultimately leading the client to seek a more specialized and consultative search partner to successfully address this critical need.
