Our client had recently invested a significant amount of money into a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant, around $30 MM in sales. They needed to hire multiple salespeople to focus on new business development and national account management. Finding someone in Chicago that has corrugated industry expertise that’s actually motivated to make a change is very rare.

How did this opportunity help the candidate?

The candidate we placed was working for a corrugated competitor that was relatively new to the states. They didn’t have the right people in place which lead to a lot of cultural, quality and production challenges. His business was suffering – he was losing business due to these issues. There was no end in sight so he felt my client could alleviate these concerns.
