The organization recently lost one of their senior sales individuals due to a retirement. This meant that some of that individual’s responsibilities would fall on the current Sales Manager. Due to this, the organization was beginning to evaluate individuals with the right skillset to join the team and work with some of the clients that had been developed over the years.

The candidate had been with the same organization for almost a decade and had experienced a good deal of success in their role. This being said, there was a management change that resulted in a toxic culture shift. This shift made it to where the individual no longer felt respected or appreciated in the role.
