Why was this a real problem for the client?
Our client was originally looking for a successor to take over his business. He knew that finding the right individual would be a challenge as he wanted to ensure that he was handing the team over to the right person. Due to this, we performed a comprehensive search so that he could see what the market has to offer and who the best individual for the role would be. Throughout the process, we were able to identify numerous candidates capable of the role, but only one that had the right cultural fit for his business and team.

The individual was in a business where he was not being challenged nor recognized for success. He is a Type-A driver and enjoys moving the needle for an organization. He was stagnant in his role and team and knew that the culture of the business was not going to change.
