They needed a true leader to reign in the second shift. The person who was in the role was not a great leader which started to affect moral on the floor. They moved someone into the position temporarily, but it was taking away from what they do as well.

How did this opportunity help the candidate?

The candidate had their hours cut at their previous employer due to a downturn in their business. This allowed the candidate to get back to a full-time position and also position himself for growth into plant management.
