Our client is a large Regional Contractor that has seen explosive growth in their Mission Critical department. This department focusses on large-scale, multi-year projects that require travel/temporary relocation. The location of this upcoming project was not appealing to many of their current project managers. On top of this, their Senior Project Manager, over the entirety of the project, was being promoted and would need a technical expert in this role to make sure nothing fell through the cracks.
How did this opportunity help the candidate?
The candidate is an industry veteran who had spent 20 years in the BAS integration space, handling everything from installations, to retro-commissioning, to sales and project management. Throughout the pandemic, he was forced to make a few moves, finding himself leaving the BAS side of the business and going back into the field on the mechanical side of the business.
