Our client is a leading independent producer of industrial packaging & retail merchandising solutions.
How long was client searching prior to our involvement?
Did client have internal recruiting resources?
Why was this a real problem for the client?
Our client had recently invested a significant amount of money into their plant, purchasing a new digital press. The press was set to be up and running around mid-May and were going to be hiring around 25-30 additional employees. Their job ad wasn’t producing any results and they weren’t finding anyone with significant printing experience. If we hadn’t have found a supervisor for them, they would have had to push the install of the new piece of equipment back. We put together a very targeted list of printing companies within 50 miles of where they were located.
How did this opportunity help the candidate?
The candidate we ended up placing was looking for a progressive organization where he could grow and develop, in addition to making more money. His specific printing experience allowed him to add significant amounts of value to the organization and he was recognized by the leadership team for doing so. He felt comfortable with the team he would be working alongside as well because they were all bought in to the goal of the facility and were heading in the same direction for the facilities future. He was dealing with more of an abrasive and confrontational management structure prior to that.
