The Plant Manager was new with the organization and needed to bring someone in from the outside in order to jolt the internal culture. Although Chicago is robust in terms of competitors, it is very competitive and a number large number of candidates were currently successfully employed.
How did this opportunity help the candidate?
The candidate that we found had joined his organization with the intentions of growing his career, improving his working shift AND learning another area of the business. This was promised to him coming in. Although he voiced his dissatisfaction a number of different times, the changes weren’t made. He saw this an opportunity to team up with the newly hired Plant Manager to help the company achieve their goals while helping him develop professionally.
