Our client had an incumbent Mill Manager set to retire in the coming year after 40 years of service to the organization, without a viable replacement in-house at the current time. Without the ability to have a transfer of knowledge taking place, the organization faced a very real possibility of the facility taking a step back from an execution of strategy and development standpoint.

The candidate we ended up placing in the role, was facing a situation in which, despite his efforts of moving a mill to being profitable, his organization decided to shutter the location due to the high prices associated with development of the mill in its specific geographic location.
