How long was client searching prior to our involvement?
Did client have internal recruiting resources?
Why was this a real problem for the client?
The employer had multiple openings around the country for Plant Management. Like most situations, it’s very difficult to find candidates from within the industry that have the leadership potential and technical ability to grow within the organization. We introduced someone who was very capable with a ton of up-side.
How did this opportunity help the candidate?
At the time, the candidate was on the market due to downsizing from his former employer. They eliminated his role and combined it with another – likely pandemic related. He had been aggressively interviewing at several organizations, but the locations weren’t right. He wanted to stay in the Southeast. We had him interview with our client up North, only for them to identify a more suitable location for him in the Southeast. He’ll likely be promoted in the next 2 years, if he comes in and does what’s required.
