Our candidate was working with a well-established and very mature sales organization with a direct competitor in this market. Because there were so many sales reps and limited geographic territories, there was limited new customer development and limited income earning opportunities. Our client had a well-known brand name nationally, but relatively few “feet on the ground” in this market, so there was much more sales opportunity for the candidate to develop and less internal competition for new account relationships.
