The manufacturing site is located in a very attractive spot but with the economy being in such a strong position, they needed outside help to identify the right person. Our client was also seeking someone with a few years out of college that could grow and develop within the organization. That happens to be the most desired profile in the industry as a whole.

The candidate we identified actually came from a coated paper mill that recently announced an ownership change. This individual along with several others was on the verge of being released. While the paper industry continues to decline, plastics and flexible packaging is poised for growth and investment. His process engineering background transferred right over while the only small learning curve was the packaging technology. This also allowed the candidate to stay local and provided an increase in compensation and overall earning potential.
