Why was this a real problem for the client?
The client has been doing all the right things for a while, including providing excellent service to small-to-midsize clients and accounts with high quality and custom design, which causing them to increase sales by more than 20% just in 2017. However, with significant hiring and new investments, they recognized that they did not have as much depth as they would like in production leaders and managers with really strong understanding of corrugated converting technology who could coach up a growing staff with many hires that were new to the corrugated industry.
How did this opportunity help the candidate?
Of the four candidates we identified, two were local with strong leadership backgrounds but different levels of experience. One felt restricted in advancement with a small company, the other needed an opportunity that would allow him to stay local to the area. Due to the ongoing growth our client expects, they decided to hire both. They were both given the opportunity to advance without having to relocate.
