Why was this a real problem for the client?
They were searching for a new production manager starting back in August due to a resignation. We had filled the role initially back in October, however the candidate decided he no longer wanted to move to the area, leaving the client vacant. We restarted the search and were able to place their new candidate who started at the beginning of 2022.
How did this opportunity help the candidate?
He had left the corrugated industry when COVID-19 started, to move closer to his ailing parents. When he did so he took a step back professionally and financially. His situation had changed so he wanted to get back into the industry he had been in for the past 25 years. This gave him and his wife a chance to start new and he is now making more than he was before he left the industry.
