The current President of the organization had plans to start phasing out of the day to day operations over the next 10 years. They needed a corrugated operations/sales leader to serve in the near-term as the General Manager with succession potential over the next 5 years to a Presidency role. Our employer did not have any bench strength internally.
How did this opportunity help the candidate?
The candidate we placed at one point in time oversaw multiple sheet plants with custom manufacturing capabilities. His most recent role was a sheet feeder operation where the business was primarily concerned with how much could be produced in a day with very little customer interaction. It was a dynamic he missed. He saw this role as a great way to contribute to an already well-run family business with a fantastic reputation.
