In this particular case, the client needed candidates that had relevant industry and functional experience, but also had experience working with a specific type of estimating software. The San Antonio talent market was very tight and candidate driven at the time of this search, so this was a uniquely difficult recruiting challenge.
How did this opportunity help the candidate?
The finalist candidate is the son of the person who invented the estimating software our client was using and he had a high level of proficiency using it. We identified the candidate while he was living in Houston, but his aging parents were in San Antonio and we helped him maximize his professional opportunity, while also moving closer to his parents, so he could support them better.
