Why was this a real problem for the client?
The client is very familiar with their competitors in the local marketplace. They knew that with the compensation restrictions they had for the position it would be near impossible to get someone from a competitor. The client needed our expertise of the market outside of elevators to find some viable candidates for them to interview and eventually hire.
How did this opportunity help the candidate?
The candidate was commuting over an hour and a half to the sales territory and the office daily. This territory made the commute much shorter. The candidate was also very attracted to the “family atmosphere” of the client company.
