How long was client searching prior to our involvement?
Did client have internal recruiting resources?
Why was this a real problem for the client?
The company has experienced continued growth. Given the nature of the declining paper industry and lack of succession planning, they have had a number of recent and anticipated retirements.
How did this opportunity help the candidate?
We identified a candidate within the closest mill possible, about 100 miles away. He was initially considered for a Maintenance Planner role but they quickly realized he was stronger in the converting department and more qualified for the maintenance supervisor role. The candidate had been with a mill that had been experiencing consistent management changes, cultural issues and a hectic working schedule. Ideally, he wanted to stay based in Wisconsin so the role we identified for him improved his situation on a number of levels.
